Saw this in Outside Magazine. Developed by Ted Clamillo this weird dolphin type fin is supposed to propel swimmers through the water at nearly 10 miles per hour, therorectically fast enough for a strong swimmer to breach like a dolphin. The fin is called the Lunocet and is about 42″ and costs $1,250 – $1,800. Looks like it would be great to keep on the boat for snorkeling or maybe ride the bow wake with the dolphins.
