Last month, while sippin’ a little rum, I thought it could be fun to have a little interaction for readers that sail around Tampa Bay. A contest was born and dubbed “Spy Bloggy”, Bloggy being the nickname for PyratSail’s little boney logo/mascot. Spy the PyratSail Flag with Bloggy’s handsome face (he has great bone structure), flying majestically over the water, be the first report it to the site and get a genuine embroidered PyratSail hat! Just a hat RumHead – what about treasure!? Well, right now just a hat, but who knows what lies ahead? Get’cher spyglasses out!
So, here’s the loosely formed rules:
A warning shot will be posted a day or so before Mariola embarks.
Spy Bloggy, remember the time and place.
Be the first sailor to post a comment in the “warning shot” post with the correct info and you get a authentic PyratSail hat sent to you – FREE. Hey, we spare no expense.
Please try to provide a fairly specific description of where you spot Bloggy. I.E. “1 mile southwest of Egmont Key”. Not something like. “I saw Bloggy out in the Gulf”.
As we go along, we’ll spice it up with different prizes, locations and boats. Keep a weather eye out!
